Five Senses? The more we experience, the more we can experience; open your capacity to experience
By David Stanley Bell
Early in our schooling we learn about the five senses. And they are intuition, imagination, desire, compassion and resonance with the energies of life. So these aren’t the five senses you learned in school? Me neither! It takes an adventurous path to discover our abilities to perceive what really matters. Developing these senses creates our spiritual compass, with the deep joy that is the love in our heart being the needle and the energetic flows of the universe and God are the magnetic and electric fields. Our doubts, fears, non-forgiveness, and judgments are the vortices that can make the needle seem like it is spinning. But it is not the needle that spins. It is the holder of the compass that is spinning.
There are times when intellectual analogies can only give a hint or cannot even describe the way of the heart, the way of our energies. I used to be very intent on avoiding pain to pursue what is pleasurable. But I have recently learned that pain & pleasure are children of the same mother. And that our ability to receive the pain as well as the pleasure expands us to the depth and breadth of our soul
The mental traps that many can fall into, including myself, are attaching thoughts, concepts, labels and identification to what is "pleasure" and what is "pain." Concepts like "failure" are attached to pain (something to be avoided) and concepts like "success" to pleasure (keep thinking positive and we will get only pleasure). It is our own judgment of our pain and need to find a lesson learned to avoid it in the future, that can prevent us from understanding the pain in the language of our soul. In allowing the pain to be and to speak to us, without judgment, we discover we are an expanding being that can more completely embrace expanding pleasure.
Here I go Again Here I go again feeling what I’ve never felt before stay or go allow or do discerning is not of the mind feeling not just for the heart the highest mind is in the music vibration of the flesh resonance in the mind dance in the heart Here I go again knowing what I could not feel before patterns and habits tried and true the unknown is the path to freedom love and joy guide the way the child, dreams and plays the warrior, certain and courageous I am all of these I am beyond these I am the abundant emptiness between the notes I feel, therefore I am with the desperation of a drowning man with the stillness of a ripple-less pond Here I go again being who I am

The heart may not always lead to love, but it will always lead to truth. Let love be your vision. A heart break is a little death as an orgasm is a little death. I wonder how I with next die so I can live more fully and truely. Let passion be your touch, taste and smell. We will learn to fly to heaven when our hearts become light as a feather. May a song of joy ring in your hearts and be the music in your hearing.
