Feeling
By David Stanley Bell

apple spice
pumpkin sage
gerba
daisy
harvest
juniper breeze
candle flames lick
sweet champa air

valley heat
thermals rise
hawks o'er
angel's wings
your sun dress o'er
silky
flowing flaxen
joyous
fire
burning
out of control
teasing
the line between
ecstasy and insanity

soft touch
endless kiss
peaceful
presence
in my arms
playful laugh
or stoic silence

heart soaring
dizzying heights
precious moments
holding my breath
afraid to let it go

moments
so long ago
feeling
colorful visions
in a blindman's dream
