Heaven To Me
By David Stanley Bell

This past month
has been so long
so unreal
so unnatural
without you
my heart hungers
for the eternal springtime I feel
when I am with you
more beautiful than
endless fields of moist and colorful sunflowers
that paint the land from horizon to horizon
my soul thirsts
for the joy of your playful and happy spirit
there are so many hours along the sea shore
that await us
so many sunsets to share
with smiles and champagne
my body aches to feel you close to me
tender kisses
loving embraces
the touch of your hand
romantic moments by candlelight
looking into your eyes
I want to cherish you
adore you
whisper over and over again
how much I love you
all I need is you
and I need you for always
I am counting down the days
until I see you again
I also count the days
that you are with me every day
and this is heaven to me
