Hundredfold
By David Stanley Bell

I kneel to worship
lavish and savor
groans of an ancient language
tongues of loving labor
songs of praise on your lips

with warm
electric touch
I lay hands upon you
excited spirits
dance within the flesh
lifting up to heaven
falling to earth
only to be raised again

wide eyes
quickened breath
currents building
flowing
waves breaking on the shore
cries of release to the night wind
answered in the morning mist
rewards are realized
hundredfold
