Nervous
By David Stanley Bell

i'm nervous
anxious
tryin' today
to clear the clouds of my mind.

it's scary
threatening
the little boy just wants to cry.

remember to breathe
and not to run
and look at this right in the eye.

it's my life
and yet another chance
to grow
