That Sound
By David Stanley Bell

that sound
this sensation
feel the flow
loosen the knot
of labored, weary thoughts

the misty ocean breeze
rustling through trees
light as a leaf
as butterfly wings
gentle the touch
upon my flesh

messenger of autumn
herald of colors in dazzling display
and evenings by the fire
I hear you
I feel you
I've missed you
