Unsure
By David Stanley Bell

unsure
of your feelings?
afraid to trust
or be hurt again?

unsure
of what you see before you
because so many princes
have turned to frogs
and dreams born on wings and prayers
have turned to acrimony
and alimony

then look into my eyes
and see forever
share with me your pleasures
your pains
let me look deep into your soul
and see what you truly need
that I may speak the words
that resonate in your heart
that I may touch you
and bring your flesh alive
so the passion that lives inside me
may find its way inside you
